You are invited to participate in a study that is designed to examine adjustment moving from current to post-cancer treatment(s). We aim to determine the clinical, biological, psychological, and social factors present before cancer that assist patients into survivorship. We are interested in four different life domains (physical and psychological health, social functioning, and health behaviors). We aim to identify factors that affect a patient’s ability in returning to “normal” life.
This study is a collaboration between Yale and the University of Connecticut. You have been asked to participate because you’ve been newly diagnosed with breast, prostate, or colorectal cancer and will be, or are receiving treatment for your disease. We will ask that you complete study procedures at five points, each three months apart. You have the option to withdraw from this study at any point.
